Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Basket on branch is converted from a brooch, the chain and surmount cluster later additions. Small marks visible where the brooch fittings were. Lot is accompanied by a fitted box belonging to the basket and branch section only.
  • Surmount cluster believed converted from a ring head, moderate wear to the gallery, some soft solder visible.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Size and cut of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate total diamond weight assessment.
  • Some rose-cut diamonds chipped, varied inclusions, some surface reaching.
  • Old-cut diamonds with few to moderate small inclusions, fairly well matched in colour.
  • Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Seed pearls and split pearls fairly well matched. Some slight discolouration and wear.
  • Bar surmount is stamped 9ct. Bar brooch surmount with later spring ring clasp to attach to pendant. Length of bar 2.9cms.
