A mid Victorian gold ruby and split pearl ring.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Glazed compartment to reverse of ring head.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Ruby is a medium reddish pink hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Split pearls are a creamy white to slightly discoloured yellowish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Split pearls slightly varied in shape and size.
  • Ruby and split pearls in good to fair condition. Some split pearls with pitting and some nacre damage.

  • Replacement half-band stamped 18ct.
  • Width 1.1cms.
