A 1960s cultured pearl novelty ducks brooch.

Condition Report

A 1960s cultured pearl brooch. Comprising two textured ducks, each with cultured pearl body and ruby eye, one wearing a Trilby hat, connected by a box-link chain. Italian marks. Lengths 2.7 and 3cms. Weight 12.3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Each with slight soft solder to the back of the screw connecting the cultured pearls.
  • Cultured pearls are baroque/semi-baroque with a light grey hue, strong green, rose and slight blue orient, good lustre.
  • Varied, mostly small surface blemishes.
  • One ruby cabochon eye with small nick.
