Condition Report

A 1960s 18ct gold sapphire dress ring. Of openwork design, the free form wirework, tapered bombe panel, with scattered circular-shape sapphire highlights. Italian marks. Later hallmarks for Birmingham. Ring size O1/2. Weight 8.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One sapphire mount is dented.
  • Sapphires are a well matched slightly greyish blue hue, fair saturation. Surface reaching inclusions. Minor to moderate abrasion.
  • Width of ring head 1.6cms.
