Condition Report
An 18ct gold diamond and gem-set brooch. Designed as an owl upon a coral branch, with circular amethyst cabochon body and circular onyx cabochon and pave-set diamond eyes. Maker's marks for E. Wolfe & Co. Hallmarks for London, 1987. Length 3.2cms. Weight 9.7gms. Coral untested.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Onyx probable replacements. Uneven and rough mounts.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Coral untested for natural colour origin.
- Coral is a slightly mottled slightly pinkish orange hue.
- Amethyst is a light medium purple hue. Slight eye visible inclusions. Moderate abrasion.
