Condition Report

An 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, with brilliant-cut diamond surround. Estimated dimensions of emerald 9.7 by 7.2 by 5.4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts. Hallmarks for Sheffield, 1989. Ring size G. Weight 6.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize, wear to white metal plating.
  • Diamonds well matched, bright and lively.
  • Diamonds with minor inclusions only.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emerald is a medium dark green hue, well saturated, with poor clarity and typical, surface reaching inclusions.

  • Emerald in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 750.
