Condition Report

CARTIER - an Autoscaph 21 wrist watch. Stainless steel case with chapter ring bezel. Reference 2427, serial 15536PL. Signed automatic calibre 049 with quick date set. Black dial with luminous baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed bi-material strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 36mm.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration. End of the rubber strap which is folded down has split in places and may need replacing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
