Condition Report

A late Victorian gold seed pearl, split pearl and enamel brooch. The green enamel and seed pearl clover, with split pearl heart-shape surround. Length 2.5cms. Weight 4gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some localised scratches to reverse.
  • Engraving to reverse reads '20th April 1898'.
  • Seed pearl untested for natural origin.
  • Seed and split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Seed and split pearls in good condition with minor abrasions.
