Condition Report
An early 20th century cultured pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising a graduated series of forty-eight cultured pearls, measuring approximately 8.3 to 5.3mms, with seed pearl spacers, to the oval-shape ruby and graduated old-cut diamond cluster clasp. Estimated dimensions of ruby 6.1 by 4 by 2.1mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 46cms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds with minor inclusions and some surface naturals.
- Cultured pearls varied in form. Generally a slightly irregular spherical shape.
- Cultured pearls slightly varied in colour. Some with slightly yellowish and pinkish hues.
- Cultured pearls in good condition with light abrasions.
- Seed pearls measure approximately 3.1 to 2.6mms.
- Ruby is a deep medium red hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity. Surface reaching inclusion to one side.
- Ruby with some abrasions to facet edges.
- Total weight 22.7gms.
