A late Victorian gold diamond and ruby monogram brooch. Designed as an entwined rose-cut diamond 'N' and vari-shape ruby 'C'. Length 2.8cms. Weight 7.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Some moderate discolouration to reverse.
- Some replacement gems.
- Glue visible to one ruby.
- Replacement pin. Clasp slightly dented, requires minor attention.
- Closed settings, presumed foil backs.
- Diamonds well matched and bright.
- Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation.
- Diamonds appear clean with few minor inclusions noticeable under 10x magnification.
- One diamond shows abrasions.
- Rubies vary, most appear purplish red hue, variation in tone, saturation.
- Rubies in good condition with minor nicks.
