Condition Report

MAUBOUSSIN - a diamond, ruby and mother-of-pearl pendant. The heart-shape mother-of-pearl, with central circular ruby cabochon collet, suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond trefoil and hinged surmount, to the curb-link and bead chain. Signed Mauboussin, Paris P18836. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 42cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched and bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Diamonds have few, minor, scattered inclusions.

  • Ruby is a slightly purplish red hue, well saturated. Small surface reaching cavity.
  • Ruby in good condition with minor abrasion.
  • Mother-of-pearl in good condition with minor abrasion.

  • Stamped K18 to clasp tag.
  • Width at widest of pendant 15.6mms.
