A pair of amethyst, diamond and enamel earrings.

Description

Condition Report

A pair of amethyst, diamond and enamel earrings. Each designed as a rectangular-shape amethyst and black enamel collet, with textured rouge and green enamel foliate and diamond accent surround, suspended from a similarly-foliate surmount. Length 5cms. Weight 10.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Amethysts are a well matched medium purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • One amethyst with glue residue visible to the pavilion.
  • Amethysts in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Black enamel in good to fair condition with some abrasions and small nicks.
  • Red and green enamel has a chalky, matte look, appearing to look aged and worn. Possibly a later addition.
  • With fixed post fittings for pierced ears.
