An early 20th century platinum diamond ring. The old-cut diamond four-leaf clover, with textured stem and later band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.75cts, principal diamond estimated H-I colour, SI clarity. Ring size L. Total weight 7.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Solder visible joining the band to the head.
- Possibly adapted from a brooch/ larger item.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Principal diamond with small dark inclusions to one side and a natural to the pavilion which can be seen through the table.
- Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Non-principal diamonds generally with some small inclusions under 10x magnification, One chipped to one side of the table. Some with surface reaching inclusions.
- Band stamped 18ct.
- Metal components electronically test as platinum.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
