Condition Report

A pair of sapphire and diamond earrings. Each designed as an oval sapphire cabochon and circular-cut diamond cluster, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond trefoil and triangular panel surmount. Estimated dimensions of a sapphire 12 by 10 by 6.5mms. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length 3.3cms. Weight 10.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched. Some circular and brilliant-cut diamonds.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Sapphires are a well matched deep medium blue hue, with fair clarity, displaying a very weak asterism under strong focused light.

  • Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • With fixed post fittings and hinged fastenings for pierced ears.
