A late Victorian 18ct gold garnet and split pearl brooch. The circular garnet cabochon, with snake-link tassel surround, atop a cannetille and split pearl surround. French assay marks. Length 7.8cms. Weight 28.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Glazed panel reverse in good condition.
- Possible later added pin and fittings.
- Some gems possibly replacements.
- Garnet is a dark brownish-red hue, in good condition, with minor chip to the surface.
- Split pearls are well matched, in good condition.
- Length of tassels 4.8cms.
