Description

Condition Report

A pair of garnet and diamond cluster earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape garnet cabochon, with rose-cut diamond surround and surmount. Length 3cms. Total weight 3.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • With oxidized effect and some discolouration to the white metal front.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched. Appear slightly varied in colour, with some drawing brownish hues.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small, light inclusions, some surface reaching.
  • Garnets are a fairly well matched medium slightly orangey red to purplish red hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Garnets in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • With hook fittings for pierced ears.
