Condition Report

A pearl three-strand necklace. The graduated pearl strands, to the rectangular-shape emerald and old-cut diamond cluster clasp. AF. Estimated dimensions of emerald 7 by 4.3 by 3.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Pearls untested.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One pearl strand completely detached, one strand broken to one end near clasp, requires attention.
  • Few pearls possibly deficient.
  • Diamonds fairly bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with minor, small scattered inclusions.
  • Emerald is a vibrant, medium deep slightly bluish green hue.
  • Emerald with typical surface reaching inclusions.
  • Emerald with minor nicks.
  • Pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Pearls are a fairly well matched cream hue with good to very good lustre and varied overtones.
  • Generally good condition, few with minor surface wear.
  • Estimated dimensions of largest pearl 3.9mms. Estimated dimensions of smallest pearl 2.6mms.
