Condition Report
An Art Nouveau silver and gold diamond floral brooch. The old-cut diamond collet buds, to the similarly-cut diamond whiplash foliate line. Estimated total diamond weight 1.40cts. Austrian marks. Length 3.8cms. Weight 6.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Piece has fairly recently been given an oxidized finish.
- Diamonds bright and well matched.
- Principal diamond estimated 0.38ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Mostly minor, to moderate scattered small inclusions. Larger diamond with more profuse inclusions.
- Gold electronically tests as approximately 12ct.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
- Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
