An Edwardian gold diamond and gem-set butterfly brooch. With rose-cut diamond eyes, old-cut diamond and textured body, to the ruby, demantoid garnet and split pearl accent wings. Length 3.7cms. Weight 4.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
- Rubies are a well matched, deep medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Demantoid garnets are well matched, vibrant yellow green hue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
