Condition Report

CHOPARD - a gentleman's Mille Miglia chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with tachymeter bezel. Reference 8932, serial 972454. Signed automatic calibre 2894-2. White dial with luminous baton hour markers, Arabic numeral twelve, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 40mm. Box and papers.

  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Small dent visible to edge of case near the seventy position on tachymeter.
  • Crown has scratches and marks. Deep scratch to surface.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot comes with a box and papers dated 14-3-04. Box shows wear.
