A late Victorian 18ct gold turquoise and split pearl necklace. The split pearl and circular turquoise cabochon floral cluster, detachable to the similarly-set fringe necklace, with trace-link back-chain and barrel clasp. Pendant may be worn as a brooch. Length of pendant 2.9cms. Length of chain 38.5cms. Weight 26.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- Turquoise trefoil to end of line deficient to one side.
- Pendant is removable and can be worn alone or as a brooch. Brooch pin is also removable.
- General areas of discolouration.
- Soft solder visible to some chain links.
- Some probable replacement gemstones.
- Turquoise are a slightly varied medium greenish blue to blue and light blue hue.
- Turquoise are in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Split pearls are a creamy white hue with iridescent overtones and typical surface blemishes, some showing moderate discolouration.
