Condition Report

A mid 20th century platinum sapphire and diamond ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, weighing 3.14cts, with pave-set diamond scrolling sides, atop the similarly-cut diamond surround. With report 78147-65, dated 16th March 2018, from GCS, stating no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts. French assay marks. Ring size O. Weight 9gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Appears to have been recently polished.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light and dark inclusions. Two diamonds to one of the scrolling sides appear to be chipped.

  • Sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Length of ring head 1.7cms.
