Condition Report

A pair of early 20th century amethyst and rock crystal hatpins. Each designed as an amethyst sphere, with faceted rock crystal circumference. Length of hatpin head 2.4cms. With J.C. Vickery case.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Plating to the pins slightly worn.
  • Pins possibly shortened.
  • Heads comprising two amethyst hemispheres joined by a rock crystal disc with faceted edge.
  • Length 17.4gms.
  • Total weight 36.7gms.
  • Amethyst with several surface reaching inclusions.
  • Stones in good to fair condition with some small chips and nicks.
