An Australian boulder opal and diamond necklace. The pear-shape boulder opal cabochon, weighing 6.75cts, with old-cut diamond spacer and surmount, suspended from an integral trace-link chain. With report 78174-60, dated 20th August 2018, from GCS, stating Australia, no treatment. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Length 42cms. Weight 7.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

- Mount has a slightly irregular outline to opal.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds with light and dark, scattered inclusions.

- Opal in good condition with minor abrasions.
- French assay marks to surmount, partially indistinct.
