An early 20th century silver and gold blister pearl and diamond novelty brooch. Modelled as a turtle, the blister pearl shell with rose-cut diamond scalloped edge, to the similarly-cut diamond limbs and diamond and ruby head. Length 2.9cms. Weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.28ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. The rubies are a well matched slightly purplish red hue. Minor-moderate abrasion. The blister pearl has an irregular surface with even colouration and good lustre.
