Condition Report

A pair of 18ct gold diamond floral earrings. Each designed as a brilliant-cut diamond cluster, with similarly-cut diamond petal surrounds. Estimated total diamond weight 5.50 to 6cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I colour, SI clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 2013. Diameter 2.8cms. Weight 22.1gms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • Shows evidence of alteration to reverse. Clip hinged fittings have been removed.
  • Butterflies deficient.
  • One post slightly bent.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Principal diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
  • Principal diamonds have few, small light and dark scattered inclusions. One with a small surface reaching feather.
  • Principal diamond estimated total diamond weight 2.10cts.
  • Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
