Fellows to Host a Glittering Event
A Preview Evening at Fellows Auctioneers and a Presentation on Coloured Diamonds
Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
There will be a chance to preview a selection of jewellery in the upcoming Antique & Modern Jewellery auction
followed by a presentation on coloured diamonds by our specialists Bryony Meredith and Geoff Whitefield.
Bryony will discuss the fabulous Whitlesbach diamond which sold at Christie's back in 2008.
She started her career at Christie’s, London and worked on the bi-annual sales in Dubai. In 2009 she moved back up to the Midlands and worked for Tiffany & Co.
She has now joined the team at Fellows where she oversees the Secondhand Jewellery & Watch department.
Geoff Whitefield will discuss the importance of correct colour communication in the trade.
Geoff has been in the trade for twenty years, fifteen of which were spent working for Parkhouse the Jeweller as an In-House Valuer and Insurance Manager.
He also works with Insurers and Adjusters to assist with claim validations. Geoff is an Institute Registered Valuer, and has just been accepted as a Fellow.
He was elected to the Institute of Registered Valuers Forum in 2009 and joined Fellows as an Insurance Manager in July 2010.
