The 1920's Jack Hood Lonsdale Belt Is An Auction Knockout!

This afternoon the eagerly anticipated Welter Weight Championship Challenge belt awarded to Jack Hood in 1926 sold for an impressive £36,000 at auction!

 

The Birmingham Boxer’s Lonsdale belt was estimated at £15,000 - £20,000 and had everybody on tenterhooks as the bidding battle commenced.

 

The winning bid went to a local businessman from the West Midlands, who will now take home an exquisite piece of boxing history.
