A Little Drop of Strength

This pendant is being sold to benefit the blood cancer charity DKMS. Entered to sale with an estimate of just £80, we hope to raise awareness of the crucial work undertaken by DKMS as well giving people the opportunity to purchase a beautifully symbolic necklace.
The designer, Sally Hurman, is an ambassador for the charity, with a very personal connection to the important work that the organisation undertakes.
Made in the UK, from recycled sterling silver, this necklace is a stylish accessory as well as an evocative token of love.

To be sold as lot 20 in Jewellery auction on May 14th from 10am.
Who is Sally Hurman?
Sally, known by her tongue-in-cheek handle Getting Stuff Done in Heels on Instagram, regularly encourages her 75,000+ followers online to send off for a swab kit to join the blood stem cell register. Sharing her own touching story of her family’s experience with blood cancer and promoting the work of DKMS has opened a lot of people’s eyes to how easily and vital it is to join the register.

5 years ago Sally's husband, Gav, was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable blood cancer. Read Sally's story on our blog.
