Lot Description

A gentleman's 18K gold chronograph manual wind wrist watch circa 1950, the cream dial with gilt applied hour markers and Arabic numerals at twelve and six o'clock with outer Arabic divisions, subsidiary minute and second recorder dials positioned at three and nine o'clock, the tonneau shaped case with two rectangular push buttons, fitted to an associated expandable plated bracelet, with a 17 jewel movement with a Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter 35mm.

An 18k wrist watch, mechanical wind, movement is not currently functioning, watch will need further attention to be put into working order. Dial is scratched and tarnished, hands are marked and slightly bent, glass is scratched.

Case is scratched and scuffed as a result of wear, crown is missing, case back is scratched and has a very fine crack between the push buttons.

Associated gold plated expandable bracelet is scratched, plating is wearing away in various places.
