Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond and split pearl snowflake design brooch, comprising a central old European cut diamond with six outer stemmed rays each terminating with a further diamond and outer split pearl detail. With pendant attachment. Estimated total diamond weight - 0.55cts. Weight of brooch - 8.44 grams. Two split pearls missing.

Fair condition. There are two split pearl missing that would need to be replaced, the remaining are all quite well matched. The diamonds are all quite bright, there is an easily visible black inclusion to the central diamond. One split pearl has been replaced with an imitation pearl, all of the claws will need checking. There are slight scratches to all of the gold, there is lead solder repair to the hinge of the metal pin that has possibly been replaced.
