The tyg is heavily tarnished with three noticeable dints to one area, the rim at the top is also mishapened near one handle. All three handles are tightly fixed. A full length solder join is visible. There are nicks to the silver along the top and bottom rim of the tyg. There are general wear and tear scratches inkeeping with the age of the piece, there are some deeper scratches to the bottom. The bottom is centrally stamped with SMITH & RAIT GLASGOW, 11555. The hallmark is rubbed with the date letter nearly illegible. It wobbles on its base.
