Lot Description

An early twentieth century pair of silver Anointing spoons of classic form, hallmarked Levi & Salaman Birmingham 1910, length measuring 10 inches (25.5 cm). Together with a similar smaller example stamped 'silver'. Gross weight 5.25 ozt (163 grams).

The anointing spoons are in good condition commensurate with age and use with general scratches, marks and pitting to the whole. The items are showing some discolouration and tarnishing and are in need of a clean. The engraving is still clear but is starting to blend. Hallmark clear and legible. Fitted case is in very good condition both to the exterior and interior.
