A 9ct gold commemorative medallion for the 'National union of short distance flyers', with a central enamelled panel depicting a racing pigeon and a raised initial monogram to the reverse. Hallmarked Birmingham 1922. Weight - 9.06 grams.

Condition Report

Overall the medal is in good condition, wear commensurate with the age and use, there are general scratches and marks, some deeper scratches visible to the enamel. The enamel also has a chip at approximately 1 o'clock. The engraving and hallmarks are clear and legible, also with the makers mark T.H.E. The fixed pendant loop may be a replacement.
