Lot Description

Two 9ct gold commemorative medallions, to include an Edwardian 'West Ham hospital football cup competition' medallion (hallmarked Birmingham 1907) and a 'Durham football association' medallion (hallmarked Birmingham 1935). Total weight - 14.67 grams. Both with personal engraving.

Condition Report

Both medals have general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The West Ham medal shows a deeper scratch to the enamel around 7 o'clock, the second medal has a little more wear to the surface of the gold particularly on the reverse. The hallmarks and engravings are clear and legible. One pendant loop unmarked the other 9 .375.
