Lot Description

A late Victorian silver punch bowl with part fluted body, shaped decorative rim, on raised circular base. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London 1897. Diameter 8 1/2 inches (22 cm). Gross weight 27.78 ozt (864.2 grams).

The punch bowl is tarnished in places, with gathered areas of polish. There are wear and tear surface scratches to the silver, there are more scratches to the inside base of the bowl, and a very small dint. There are a few deeper small scratches to the underside of the base. The bowl sits flat on the table.
