Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold "Poison" ring with opal set square hinged top flanked by three rose cut diamonds to either side, with carved shoulders and the words "In memory of" to the back. Hallmarked Birmingham 1874.

Postage: Auction Default

Total lot weight: No

The ring is in fair condition, the detail has seriously rubbed to the back of the ring and there is a section where the ring has been sized and there is a section of rose quartz. The inner hallmark is slightly rubbed yet legible. The claws to the diamond points would need to be checked, the opal is in good condition and perhaps not original to the piece. The central hinged panel opens and closes secure. Ring Size UK - P1/2, US - 8.
