A large late 19th century satsuma pottery vase of baluster shaped form. The blue and cream glazed ground decorated with a band of flowers detailed in gold. The base with painted character marks. 22" (56cm) tall

The piece appears to be in good order although to the underside of the flared neck there could be a small crack. Small area of re-touching to the paint. Gilding worn. The overall surface is crazed. Base crazed with possibly a ring hairline crack
