A carved opal matrix pendant and chain, depicting a bird of paradise resting amongst foliage, suspended from a fine elongated cable-link chain. Length of pendant 1.9cm, length of chain 53cm.

Condition Report
The pendant is in very good condition overall. The central carving is in a pleasing condition and has retained a high level of detail. Under 10 X magnification one can see various fine lines and scratches but no chips. The yellow gold mount is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. The chain does not currently fasten as it has no jump ring.
