Lot Description

Victorian 18ct keyless wind, pin set, open face fob watch, by John Cashmore, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, and blue steel hands, case having reeded detail to the edge with hinged back and bezel, hallmarked London 1862 with the makers mark J.W.S, three quarter plate English lever movement, fitted with a signed three quarter plate English lever movement numbered 3436. Case diameter 39mm.

The case is in fairly good order, having light surface marks and scratches throughout, the hinges are in good order, mineral crystal is ok having a build up of  debris and light surface marks, the white dial has some surface discoloration, a hairline mark between the 9 o’clock and 11 o’clock, and from 1 o’clock down to the 5 o’clock position. The movement is signed John Cashmore, North Buildgs Eldon St, London. The movement is fully wound, the balance top pivot is broken, and the hairspring is bunched over to one side. Handset function is operating.
