Lot Description

Victorian 18k gold key wind full hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, engine turn detailed case with monogram engraving to cartouche, hallmarked London 1869, three quarter plate movement signed WM Edwards 44 New Street Birmingham, numbered 4222. Case diameter 47mm.

The engine turning to the front and back cover has substantial wear, there are a few light knocks to the top edge of the front cover,  with surface scratches and a few marks, the inner cover is heavily scratched around the key holes, the inner bezel is missing its crystal, the dial has surface debris and dirt, with two hairlines that run from the one o'clock position down to the top edge of the subsidiary seconds dial, the hands have surface marks and scratches, the movement is dirty, the fusee chain has become detached from the barrel, and the balance staff is broken.
