Lot Description

An open face keyless wind Waltham Mass pocket watch, marked sterling, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the screw down front opening case with engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche, the signed full plate movement decorated with damaskeening numbered 9835363. Case diameter 57 mm.

The case is in fair condition, there is some wear to the definition of the knurling on the bezel, there is also wear to the engine turning on the case back, but there is still definition, the dial is generally clean, but does have a hairline between the twelve and one o'clock positions and a few light marks and debris, the blue steel hands have a few surface marks, the movement is clean and currently running, the watch does wind and set, the pendant setting may require a small adjustment, the crystal does have some surface marks and scratches, the crown is worn, the bow is in good condition.
