Lot Description

An open face keyless wind Zenith pocket watch, stamped 800, the engine turned case with vacant cartouche, white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals Louis XV style hands, signed movement with Swiss lever escapement and numbered 2411863. Case diameter 52 mm.

Total lot weight: No

Movement is currently functioning intermittently, it is filthy, sounds out of beat and the hairspring is bunched up to one side. It will require a service. The case shows signs of general wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing, the heavier marking is concentrated round the case lip. Some dints are also present around the case. The engine turned detail to the rear looks to be clear. The dial looks to be in a generally pleasing condition with some detritus present between dial and glass and slight fading of the twenty four hour numerals to detract from the overall appearance. Hands appear to be in a good condition, the glass has some damage and what looks like adhesive around the edge.
