A late Victorian diamond set star brooch/pendant, the central old European cut diamond surrounded by eight rays of graduated diamonds inter spaced by a further single old cut diamond. With detachable brooch fitting. Estimated total old European cut diamond weight 1.40cts, colour H/I, clarity SI1/P2. Diameter 2.80cms

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition, in keeping with age. The diamonds are bright and lively. Some are chipped and some has large inclusions visible with the unaided eye. The settings will need attention as the claws have worn thin. The brooch pin and pendant loop are in good working order. The silver has tarnished.
