Lot Description

Total lot weight: No

The Victorian silver mounted part of the mirror has very light general surface scratches. The four solder joins to each corner are becoming visible. There is some loss of detailing due to polishing and build up of polish. The back of the frame is quite worn, the leather covering to the wooden back has worn away in places, particularly around the edges. One foot to the easel back has the bottom 1cm broken off, but the mirror still stands up securely. There is a chain between the mirror and the easel back. There is a crack through the wood on the top edge. There is an engraving to the cartouche in the silver mount, this is still very detailed. There are a few small areas of rubbed silvered mirror backing. The hallmark is rubbed and tarnished but still just legible.
