Lot Description
Late Victorian silver oval twin handled tray of simple form, featuring central presentation inscription, within an ovoid sunburst surround and having a stylised scalloped border. Dual column list of rank and name to reverse. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, Sheffield 1888. Total length measures approximately 19 inches (48 cm) and weighs approximately 57.2 ozt (1780 grams).

Condition Report
The tray is scratched and scuffed throughout with some spotting and tarnishing, otherwise generally good. Slight loss of definition to the central inscription. Hallmarks clear and legible to the underside, which also has several small dents.
