Lot Description

An Edward VII silver heart shaped pill box with hinged lid and gadrooned border, hallmarked Birmingham 1901, length measures 4.5 cm. Together with an engine turned card case with personal initials, hallmarked Birmingham 1992, and a silver book mark topped with a teddy bear, hallmarked London 1990. Gross weight 85.87 grams.

All pieces are in a good condition, all hallmarks legible and clear.


The pill box's gilt interior is quite dull, it has hallmarks to the base and lid, the hinge is in working order and the lid closes flush, it has general wear and tear surface scratches, some deeper than others, with a few deeper scratches to the inside edge.


The card case has just a few light surface wear and tear scratches.


And the bookmark has wear and tear surface scratches and some tarnishing.
