Lot Description
A selection of pill boxes of varying shapes and sizes, to include a rectangular embossed box with gilt interior, the decoration to the lid being a classical scene depicting two seated women and a gentleman playing a lute. It is hallmarked with a London import mark, 1988, S J & J M. Length measures 1 1/4 inches (3 cm). Also to include two hexagonal shaped pill boxes, one is plain and stamped 925, the other is hinged with bright cut engraved decoration to the lid, also stamped 925. Also to include two other examples. Gross weight 2.14 ozt (66.7 grams). (5).
