Lot Description

Channel Islands nineteenth century white metal beaker, tentatively attributed to Jacques Quesnel I, of plain flared lip form, engraved '264 277 EN Neel 1816', the body raised above a circular footed base. Marked to the underside IQ. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9cm), weight 3.67 ozt (114 grams).

The beaker display wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is some shallow denting around the bottom of the body. Visible solder to the bottom foot. Deeper scratches to the inside. Makers mark to the underside of the base, clear, as in the images.
