Lot Description

A Georgian enamel and diamond memorial brooch of cut cornered rectangular shape with a rose cut diamond set urn over a background of guilloche blue enamel. A small oval hair panel to the back is encircled with the words "Jane Skinner Died march 12th 1787 Aged 16yrs". Dimensions 2.2cms x 1.5cms.

Condition Report

A number of diamonds are missing from the urn, there is a small patch of enamel at the top where it does not reach the edge of the frame although it does not appear to be chipped. The security fitting for the pin has been replaced with a modern fitting.
